Assignment Expectations in 7th Grade Language Arts
In 7th grade language arts, an ideal assignment meets the following criteria...
·It is turned in ON TIME!
·It has the proper heading (full name, date and period).
No name = no credit!
·Final drafts are typed (double spaced) or done in blue or  black ink on one side of standard size paper. Grades  for final drafts turned in rough draft form (ie. pencil) will be lowered 10%.

Late Work Policy and Grading:
·Small assignments such as worksheets not accepted late unless student is absent.
·Major assignments (writing & projects) lose 10% per each school day late and will not be accepted more than one week late. (Turn in what you have!)
·If printer fails, handwrite the paper, or print it in the library before school. Do not e-mail it.
·         Work that is late due to technological difficulties (ie. printer failure, computer crashing, etc.) may be turned in a timely matter providing there is a parent note confirming the problem.
·         Turn in  what you have on  time! It is better to turn in something rather than nothing at all.
